Delivery
This was an adventure! Scaffold and delivery truck was ferried from Kerikeri to the island by barge. The truck was driven to a ridgeline, then tractors brought the rig from the ridgeline to the house,
Scaffold was built up and around house then wrapped to protect the steel frame from the weather. Outside of the steel we created a sandblasting platform. The wrap goes over the top to allow the work to be done without weather interruptions.
Steel was sandblasted and then needed to be dry, primed and coated within four hours of sandblasting.
